The problem with making projections with only historic numbers is evident. Also, the same problem with assuptions on demand decline based on month-to-month numbers. Xiaomi YU7 had 315.900 orders in the first three days, and till now only 240.000 units are delivered. Assuming that there has not been any more orders after the first three days(!!!) there are still about 75000 cars to be delivered. Based on this poor arithmetic judgement, and without any idea on what's happening from the production perspective(are there any new factories, or additional capacity added to current ones) how can one deduct that Xiaomi is facing a mount to climb?
I am just waiting for Xiaomi to make a new cheap car and also it will reach the target easily.
