Today the first completed Nio Onvo L60 models have started rolling off the production line in China. The L60 is the debut model from Nio's new Onvo brand, which is meant to slot underneath the main Nio brand, price-wise.

Onvo president Ai Teicheng delivered the first L60 to Xia Qinghua, the head of Onvo's user and service operations in Hefei, Anhui province, China, at Nio's F2 plant in NeoPark.

Xia will drive 20,000 km in the L60 in the next 36 days to ensure the model is truly ready for deliveries to customers.

While the L60 is Onvo's first car, it's Nio's 12th model, sharing manufacturing processes and equipment with the main brand. The L60 has already undergone more than 5,000 testing procedures to ensure quality, accumulating 4.21 miles of testing, according to the brand.

Now that mass production has started, we finally have our first comprehensive view of the L60's interior, which seems to be heavily influenced by Tesla's Model 3 with the single big touchscreen in the middle of the dash.

The display is 17.2" diagonally and has "3K" resolution. There's also an 8" screen at the rear, as you can see. The Onvo Sound system fitted to the L60 has 18 speakers and supports Dolby sound. The cabin has ambient lighting with 16 preset themes.
