Order pizza on the go with Domino's Pizza app and Apple CarPlay integration

Apple

Domino’s Pizza app is now available on the Apple CarPlay and if you are a fan of Domino’s but don’t like the long lines at the drive-thru - you’ll love it. The company itself admitted that the long waiting times are not ideal and the new app is here to solve that problem.

Since the app is now available on the CarPlay system, it means it has to be as simple as it gets. There are only two options - “tap to order” or “call to order.” That’s it - just two buttons. The “call to order” doesn’t need an explanation but the “tap to order” can be tricky. It is linked to the app on your phone which stores your preferred order together with the delivery location. Don’t use it when you’re out and about or your pizza will end up being delivered miles away from you.

The app and the ordering process are simple enough for a 3-year-old to navigate. It will make any Domino’s life easier and with the order tracking you can see how far the pizza is away from you. It means we can get even lazier and never leave the car, all we need now is someone to come and pick up the empty box.

On a serious note though, this is super convenient. While we may think this world is going mad and we can order pizza without leaving the car wherever we are - think of disabled people. For some, it may mean a difference between having Domino’s or not.
