Tesla

Tesla made a unique Model 3 LR RWD with the long-range battery but a single rear-wheel-drive motor for business fleet customers in the UK.

Currently, the Tesla Model 3 can be had in RWD with the smaller battery, as well as in AWD with the larger battery in Long range and Performance trims. There used to be a long-range RWD Model 3 in the first generation, but that's not seen with this one.

This new model promises a WLTP range of 634km (394miles) - the longest of any Model 3, followed by the 602km (374 miles) LR AWD variant.

Per Karen Bowen, Senior Key Account Manager at Tesla in the UK - "Introducing the new Model 3 Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive for our B2B customers in the UK". She continues to confirm that the new car will cost £46,990, which is around £4,000 more than the Standard Range and £4,000 less than the Long Range AWD.

There's no information yet if Tesla will spread the availability of the new model to other regions or that it will sell it to non-business customers.
