Tesla

Did you enjoy Cyber Rodeo? We did, as usual Tesla put on an amazing show but the fun didn’t stop anyone at Giga Texas from working. In fact the first deliveries have already started. Happy owners sharing their joy on social media:

Tesla is not slowing down - deliveries from Giga Texas have started!

Tesla is known for handing first cars off the production line to its employees. What is interesting though, it’s the fact that the first models to roll off the assembly line are the Standard Range models like the one shown during the Cyber Rodeo. Tesla usually starts the production with Performance models but another customer confirmed he received his order at the Cyber Rodeo and it was for the Model Y Long Range. Change of tactics?

Tesla is not slowing down - deliveries from Giga Texas have started!

Tesla is pushing ahead at full speed, production will ramp up now and before long we’ll see all models available with the new 4680 battery cells and we expect to see many road tests comparing the cars with new cells against the older models.

Another interesting bit of news is that Tesla is seriously rethinking the idea of mining and refining lithium in the US at its own facilities. It makes sense with the prices going up and threatening the prices of Tesla cars - we’ve seen those increase 3 times this year alone.
