Real time Tesla Supercharger availability lands in Google Maps

Tesla

Google Maps now shows live charger availability information for Tesla Superchargers, at least in North America. So if you search for Superchargers, you'll instantly see how many stalls are actually available, in real time, on the search results page as well as each Supercharger's details.

Tesla Supercharger availability lands in Google Maps

This was previously available inside the Tesla app, but it's much more convenient to also have the same information in Google Maps as well. Given that Tesla's North American Supercharger network has been open to owners of other EVs for a while, this ensures that if you have an EV from a different brand you don't have to use the Tesla app anymore to check charger availability.

And that's who this is most handy for - after all, Tesla owners already get this information in the in-vehicle navigation as well as the Tesla app.
