Tesla

Tesla will not bring back the Model S and Model X to the UK or Ireland.

The carmaker has confirmed that it won't make right-hand drive versions of the two cars and that people that have pre-ordered will be offered a choice between £2,000 (€2,000 in Ireland) of credit towards a Model 3 or Y, buy a left-hand drive model from Tesla's inventory or get a full refund.

Tesla won't make a right-hand drive Model S or X for the UK and Ireland

The Model S and X haven't been available in the UK for two years now and UK buyers were hopeful that the 2021 facelifted versions of the X and S would get a right-hand drive version. They won't, it turns out.

Other left-hand drive markets like Australia face a similar situation and will likely not get a Model S or X.
