Kia EV9 wins World Car Awards' car of the year

Kia Volvo BMW

The Kia EV9 was voted the car of the year at the World Car Awards for 2024.

The large SUV narrowly beat the Volvo EX30, while the BMW i5 was a close third.

The EV9 also won the award for the world's best EV.

BMW's i5 also won an award. It beat out the Mercedes-Benz E-Class and EQE SUV as the world's best luxury car.

The Volvo EX30 also got home with some gold - it took the best urban car award, outscoring the likes of the BYD Dolphin and the Lexus LBX.

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 N won the world performance car of the year, beating BMW's M2 and XM, while the Toyota Prius took home the car design of the year award.

BMW i5 was not third for car of the year, it was the BYD Seal

TBH, seeing these prices awarded to mentioned cars, I really hope it does not affect customers, when they pick their new ride. These cars are utterly horrible.
