Toyota

There's a lot going on at this year's Auto Shanghai and Toyota brought two new concepts - the bZ Sport Crossover Concept and the bZ FlexSpace Concept. Evidently, they are going to eventually become part of the fully-electric bZ lineup. However, they are not part of the planned ten models in the next three years. The two concepts are made to precede two actual production models designated for the Chinese market.

The bZ Sport Concept is co-developed by Toyota and BYD under their joint venture, but will be sold and produced by Toyota itself. The sporty concept has an active styling and aims at the younger Generation Z. It's also a model that "evolves after purchase" as it includes driver assistance and automatic parking, both of which will improve with every software update.

The bZ FlexSpace, on the other hand, is all about family. It's co-developed with GAC and will be sold and produced under the GAC Toyota Motor joint venture brand. It aims to provide that cozy home feeling for the whole family by allocating cabin space as much as possible. Advanced comfort and safety features are implemented while ensuring a long cruising range away from the plug.

The two EVs will debut sometime next year but will remain exclusive to China.
