XPeng announces G9 facelift, show cars already in stores

XPeng has jumped the gun on a G9 facelift, unveiling it earlier than previously hinted. XPeng announced the G9 in September of last year and today, it announced the facelift, saying that the first batch of show cars are already available in stores for testing.

XPeng didn't detail the changes of the facelifted G9, but confirmed it will come in five colors - Dark Night Black, Galaxy Grey, Frost White, New Moon Silver, and Interstellar Green.

The G9 is based on an 800-volt architecture and comes with a choice of 78.2 kWh and 98 kWh batteries and either a 230 kW (308 hp) rear-driven motor or a 405 kW (543 hp) all-wheel drivetrain. Depending on the configuration you choose, XPeng says you can expect 354 miles, 404 miles or 436 miles of range.
