XPeng starts deliveries of its G9 SUV

XPeng announced its big, fully-electric G9 SUV about a month ago and it's now beginning to roll the streets. The company officially announced that the first customers are now receiving their G9s.

The caveat is that most of the deliveries are of the single-motor variant, whereas the dual-motor option is expected to hit the streets sometime in December.

The vehicle comes in three main tiers with more granular configuration within those tiers named Plus, Pro and Max. The interesting bit is that XPeng's assisted driving system, XPilot comes as a standard across all trims and the entry level starts at CNY 309,900 ($42,800).
