Apple Car team reportedly dissolved, quick reorganization needed for 2025 launch

Apple Rumors

An Apple Car has been in the news for many, many years - and just the news, at least so far, because there's been no such actual product. That may or may not change in a few years.

In the meantime, a new rumor today from a very well connected source for all things Apple, famed analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, claims that things aren't really all that rosy at Apple HQ regarding this alleged Apple Car.

The Apple Car project team has been dissolved for some time. The reorganization within the next three to six months is necessary to achieve the goal of mass production by 2025.

— 郭明錤 (Ming-Chi Kuo) (@mingchikuo) March 15, 2022

As you can see from the tweet above, the Apple Car project team was apparently "dissolved" a while back. Apple's goal for achieving mass production in 2025 will only be reached, according to Kuo, if the company can very quickly reorganize its efforts in the space, within the next three to six months. Otherwise, we assume 2025 would turn into 2026 and so on.

We hope Kuo will let us know, in three to six months, how things actually panned out with Apple's new car project team.
