BMW

BMW has revealed the first details about the i7 EV on its official US website. The car is now listed as coming soon and there's a first official drivetrain - the i7 xDrive60.

BMW shared that the i7 xDrive60 will have a range of 324 miles (around 520 km), which is the same as BMW's iX xDrive50.

In the US the drivetrain has 516hp and 564 lb-ft (around 760nm) of torque, though it stands to reason that BMW will give the i7 a bit more than the iX.

On the landing page for the i7 on BMW's US website there's a video, sharing details about the EV's trim and smarts. It will feature the recognizable large kidney grills, and they'll be illuminated like on other recent beemers.

The i7 will also feature dual crystal headlights, which BMW says are made of crystal glass.

Inside the car, there's an Interaction Bar embedded into the dashboard. It's a glass touchscreen that includes controls for the climate control and can illuminate the cabin.

On the rear, there will be the self-deployed 31-inch 8K connected display that BMW showed at CES. It features 5G connectivity and will connect to the i7's Bowers & Wilkins infotaiment. It will fold back when not in use.
