About two months after the announcement of the Electra E5, GM-owned Buick revealed the Electra E4. It is a slightly smaller SUV that Buick labels coupe SUV.
The Electra E4 is built on GM's Ultium platform, just like the E5. That's why the Electra E5 will be available for purchase as early as next month.
It comes in four versions with two powertrain options. The single-motor variant offers a rear-mounted 150 kW motor, while the dual-motor iteration offers a 143 kW front one and 68 kW motor for the rear axle.
Depending on the configuration, the Electra E4 adopts a 65 kWh battery for the standard range or 79.7 kWh for the long-range version. The CLTC ratings are 329 miles and 385 miles, respectively. The vehicle's dimensions are 189.7 inches x 75.3 inches x 62.2 inches with a wheelbase of 0.1163 inches. Both batteries are supplied by CATL and SAIC's joint venture firm.
As we already mentioned, pricing is competitive, with the entry-level version asking just RMB 189,900 ($26,900) while the other three are as follows - RMB 209,900 ($29,700), RMB 219,900 ($31,100) and RMB 259,900 ($36,700).
