Confirmed: Mini Aceman will debut next week

Mini confirmed that the Aceman will make its official debut at the Beijing International Automotive Exhibition, which kicks off next week, on April 25.

The Aceman will slot in between the smaller Mini Cooper E and the bigger Mini Countryman E.

Confirmed: Mini Aceman will debut next week

That's the extent of the details Mini delivered in its teaser, but we know a bit more. The new mid-sized EV will come in two variants - the Aceman and Aceman S. Both will have a choice of 40 kWh and 54.2 kWh batteries with the bigger offering 249 miles of CLTC range.

Both models use front-wheel drive motors with the base car offering {{181 hp}} and the Aceman S going up to {{214 hp}}.

Confirmed: Mini Aceman will debut next week

Mini will bring its entire EV lineup to the China auto show. Expect the Mini Cooper E in a new Favoured Trim with an exclusive Sunny Yellow exterior with a white roof and mirrors.

The Cooper SE will be there in British Racing Green and John Cooper Works trim.

The Mini Countryman ALL4 will be there in John Cooper Works trim as well.
