DeLorean

DeLorean keeps reminding us that the reborn classic called now EVolved is coming, this time they showed a very short clip on Twitter, just enough for us to see the rear louvers and the rear lights wrapping around the car as well as the DeLorean logo lit up underneath it. There’s no denying it will be a very wide and very low car - but will it be a production car?

New day. New energy.

It will be unveiled on August 18 at the famous Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, DeLorean did confirm that low-volume production model will follow but how closely will it follow the teased images - we don’t know. It will keep the gullwing door setup and it will be an EV thanks to cooperation with Italdesign and Williams which is great news because Italdesign has been recently involved in development of the Deus hypercar.

DeLorean has promised to be a “full-line” manufacturer, EVolved is just a part of future plans and it will be followed by high volume production cars. Reviving such an iconic brand is not an easy task, is the world ready for the new DeLorean? We say yes.
