Nissan Dongfeng

The Guangzhou International Automobile Exhibition (Auto Guangzhou) is in full swing, and Dongfeng Nissan was one of the first companies to launch its new vehicle. The N7 electric sedan is set to hit the Chinese market in the first half of 2025.

The N7 is the first model built on Dongfeng Nissan's new modular architecture designed for electric vehicles. The platform was developed and produced in China and is tailored to the demands of the world's largest automotive market.

The N7 uses Nissan's signature V-Motion design language and spans 194.1 inches in length, 74.6 inches in width, and 58.5 inches in height. Its wheelbase stretches to 114.8 inches.

The N7's infotainment system is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P processor. Dongfeng Nissan has partnered with a leading Chinese autonomous driving technology company, Momenta, to equip the N7 with an advanced driver-assist system called 'Navigate on Autopilot.' There are no details available yet, but the system is expected to offer a range of features designed to enhance safety and convenience on the road.

The N7's development and production take place entirely in China. The N7 sedan is the first all-new, all-electric model introduced in China under Nissan's mid-term plan called The Arc. The plan aims to accelerate the development and export of new energy vehicles from China, turning the country into a key hub for Nissan's global EV ambitions.

Pricing details remain under wraps for now, but Dongfeng Nissan promises to release more information closer to the N7's launch in 2025.
