DS

DS N°8 is now available for order, promising the most exciting blend of luxury, performance, and range by the company yet.

The DS N°8 draws inspiration from the DS AERO SPORT LOUNGE concept. This dedication to "aero efficiency" has apparently resulted in a significant 37 miles range increase (WLTP cycle).

The front fascia features the innovative DS LUMINASCREEN grille, an illuminated and aero-efficient design. The headlamps, composed of three modules outlined by 8 LEDs, echo the classic Clous de Paris pattern. The DS LIGHTBLADE at the front and rear further enhances the car's visual presence, making it instantly recognizable.

The DS N°8 offers three different 100% electric drivetrains. They output 230 hp, 245 hp, and finally 350 hp in the two motors with all-wheel drive. All drivetrains also feature a temporary power boost function. The electric motors are produced in France by Emotors, a joint venture in which the Stellantis Group is a shareholder.

The FWD version is accelerating from 0 to 62 mph in just 7.7 seconds, and the AWD Long Range model achieves the same feat in {{5.4}} seconds. Regardless of the chosen drivetrain, the top speed is electronically limited to 118 mph.

Two battery capacities are available, both using NMC cells produced in France. The 74 kWh battery powers the DS N°8 FWD (230 hp), while the larger 97.2 kWh battery is found in the FWD LONG RANGE (245 hp) and AWD LONG RANGE (350 hp) versions. The DS N°8 FWD LONG RANGE has a combined WLTP range of 466 miles and a remarkable urban range of 565 miles. The DS N°8 FWD and AWD Long Range offer combined WLTP ranges of 342 miles and 428 miles, respectively. Fast charging offers the ability to add 280 miles of range in just 27 minutes using a 160 kW charger.

The DS N°8 is available in two trim levels: PALLAS and ETOILE. The latter adds features like the DS LUMINASCREEN grille, DS DRIVE ASSIST 2.0, and DS PIXEL LED VISION. Two optional packs, Tech and Comfort, are available for each trim level.

There are five colors available, including three new options. Pricing in France starts at $69,400 for the DS N°8 PALLAS FWD and goes up to $87,400 for the DS N°8 ETOILE AWD Long Range. Deliveries are expected to begin in the second half of 2025.
