Genesis

Earlier this month the Genesis GV60 got fully launched in the UK, and today the same has finally happened in the US. The car can be ordered initially from select Genesis retailers in California, Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York.

It's offered in two all-wheel drive "packages" in the US, the cheapest going for $58,890. This is called GV60 Advanced AWD and it comes with all of the safety and advanced driver assistance systems, a 74 kW front motor and a 160 kW rear motor, together producing a total of 234 kw or 314 hp.

It sports a 77.4 kWh battery, 248-mile estimated range, a heat pump, and dual 12.3" screens inside, as well as a head-up display. There's support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a B&O audio system too.

The $67,890 GV60 Performance AWD takes things to the next level with 320 kW of total power - that's 429 hp, with up to 483 hp in Boost Mode. The range for this one is 235 miles, and as a bonus compared to the entry-level model you also get electronically controlled suspension, an electronic limited slip differential, monobloc front brakes, nappa leather, heated rear seats, and 21" alloy wheels. Both prices exclude the $1,090 freight fee.

The Genesis GV60 supports UWB-based digital keys so you can unlock it with your iPhone, Apple Watch, or Samsung phone. Genesis worked with Electrify America to offer three years of 30-minute complimentary charging sessions from the date of purchase.

Additionally, Connected Care is available with no expiration, and no additional charge for three years. This provides an always-on connection for safety features like Automatic Collision Notification, Enhanced Roadside Assistance, and SOS Emergency Assistance when the car has access to a cellular network. Monthly vehicle health reports, maintenance and diagnostic alerts, and over-the-air updates are also available as standard.
