Genesis unveiled two new EV concepts dubbed Neolun and GV60 Magma. The duo promises to combinec top-notch comfort and white-knuckle thrills.

Genesis unveils two concept EVs - luxury meets high performance

The Neolun is a sleek SUV with a minimalist design and eye-catching "coach doors" that ditch the central pillar, making the entire side of the car like a grand entrance. .

Traditional Korean "ondol" underfloor heating provides a gentle, consistent warmth throughout the cabin. Combined with the swiveling front seats, luxurious fabrics, and a massive, customizable display system, it's certainly looking like a great place to be.

While the Neolun is unquestionably just a concept vehicle, with very little chance of making it to the market, the GV60 Magma is much closer to an actual car. This isn't just a new trim package for the Genesis GV60 – it's the first offering from the new "Magma" performance sub-brand. This is Genesis’ answer to BMW's M division or Mercedes' AMG. This concept car turns up the wick with a wider stance, a lower ride height, and an aggressive, aerodynamically sculpted body.

Underneath, we'll get souped-up batteries, more powerful motors, and design tweaks to channel air for cooling both the brakes and the powertrain.

If you are wondering what may power this orange electric rocket, the answer is simple - lookup Hyundai Ioniq 5 N. Since the GV60 and Ioniq 5 are technically siblings, there is no reason for Genesis to try and reinvent the wheel with its own powertrain. The Magma GV60 will be a 650+ hp weekend warrior, it’ll be an EV for those who find the Ioniq 5 N a little bit too timid.
