GMC

Deliveries of the premium, limited-edition version of GMC's 2024 Sierra EV, the Sierra EV Denali Edition 1, are finally going to start this summer, the brand has announced today. GMC says its dealers are currently working with Edition 1 reservation holders on the ordering process. The final starting MSRP is $99,495, including a $1,995 destination charge.

Ahead of the launch, the car has received improvements in a bunch of important areas: more range, more towing capacity, more payload, and a CrabWalk mode.

So, let's dive in. The EV will have a GM-estimated 440 miles of range, up from the initial estimate of 400 miles for the 2024 model year. Towing capacity will be 10,000 lb, an increase of 500 lb, while max payload will be 1,450 lb, up from the initial estimate of 1,300 lb.
