Google

Sharing your digital car keys from your Google Wallet isn't a great feature and now it got even better. The latest system service update from Google gives you a few additional options.

Google Wallet gains new digital car keys sharing options

The new update brings new ways to share your digital car keys. You can now assign different roles to people you share your keys with, like "co-owner," "guest," and "service." This, in turn, allows you to apply certain restrictions.

For instance, you can limit the speed, acceleration and even the maximum music volume for certain people or roles. You can do so after you tap Share car key in your Google Wallet app.

The update also simplifies sharing your car keys across different devices, such as your smartwatch.

That's it!? That's the story!? That barely counts as telling what the story was going to be about.
