The Ioniq 9 is a three-row SUV "that will mark a new milestone in the brand's continuing commitment to advancing electrification", Hyundai says. The Ioniq 9 is "set to redefine the EV experience, boasting a spacious and comfortable interior".

Hyundai calls this "Aerosthetic Silhouette" design, because it unites aerodynamic performance with aesthetic appeal. The form is inspired by a boat, while the single-curved roofline "gives the Ioniq 9 its unmistakable profile".
