Renault Concept

The automotive world is all about concept cars these days, and no other sphere of it is as inventive as the electrified one. This latest concept is from Software République, an "open innovation ecosystem" formed by Atos, Dassault Systèmes, Orange, STMicroelectronics, Thales, and Renault Group.

Here's Software République's bold H1st vision concept

Called the H1st vision, which stands for Human First Vision), this is a concept that was created by 100 people in a span of six months. It's billed as a "physical vehicle that doubles as a virtual replica" in a connected digital universe where cars can communicate with each other, and the road network is riddled with smart cameras that can alert you of pedestrians in your blind spot.

Here's Software République's bold H1st vision concept

The H1st vision has biometric access, a driver and vehicle health monitor system, a one-of-a-kind sound experience inside, optimized range and charging, and predictive alerts to protect both the occupants of the car, and those outside on the road.

These are all easier shown that described. Here are three videos of the concept in action. The first shows the predictive alert in action - the car is notified by the connected ecosystem that an ambulance is behind it and it can signal to cars in front of it to turn off.

The second video is a simulation of a camera warning the car that an incoming scooter on the road is hidden from the driver's eyesight. The third video shows the health monitor in action.

There's no word if we'll ever see the H1st vision turn into a commercial product, but if response is positive we have little doubt it will happen.

hum... it looks to me for 10% of the probable 40k price, the vision pro already delivers more. The only thing, it still does not displace you. But I guess that will come before this car flesh out.
