Nio Onvo

Nio's sub-brand Onvo is getting ready to launch its second EV, following the L60 which was released last year. This was thought to be called L80, but it actually turns out it will be the L90. We've already seen it in some spy shots last month, and today the brand itself has shared the teaser image you can see below.

That's the three-row Onvo L90 wearing a heavy suit of camo, sitting pretty next to one of Nio's many battery swapping stations in China. It's actually parked in the position from which it will drive itself into the station for the battery swap.

Like the L60, the L90 will also support Nio's battery swapping service, which gives your EV a fully charged battery in about three minutes, beating every fast charger out there, and it's even faster than refueling an ICE car.

The L90 will be a large SUV as you can see, and its charging port is on the left rear side. The L90 should become official at some point in the second quarter of this year, so between April and June, with deliveries starting in the third quarter (July to September).
