Infiniti Announcement

Amidst the electric revolution, Infiniti has thrown its hat into the ring with grandeur, after sitting on the sidelines for quite a while. The luxury vehicle division of Nissan announced its Vision Qe concept that will serve as base for its first EV.

The all-electric fastback sedan features a sleek, low-profile design, adorned with eye-catching "digital piano key" lighting and some enormous wheels.

Alongside this seductive sedan, Infiniti teased an all-electric SUV, the Vision QXe concept. Unfortunately all we got from it is this picture where it's the one in the back.

The Vision Qe is draped in bespoke Shadow Blue paint with gold highlights, reflecting Infiniti's recently updated visual identity, which revolves around these two hues.

With a plan labeled "Ambition 2030", Infiniti aims to electrify a majority of its global lineup by the end of the decade. And the first EV will be a sedan based on the Vision Qe. Only time will tell how much it will be watered down before it enters mass production, though.
