Lucid

Back in May, Lucid unveiled plans to release a midsize crossover SUV that would retail for $48,000. Today, the company has shared the first image showcasing the yet-unnamed model, along with a slight price correction - it's now being referred to as "under-$50,000".

Production is still set to start in late 2026. The new crossover "will use the efficiency and cost advantages enabled by Lucid technology to deliver the same range as competitors while using a smaller battery", the company says - and there we have a tiny glimpse of what to expect.

No further details have been released, but Lucid has plenty of time to drip-feed us information about this new model - we're still more than two years away from the production start, which means we're likely about a year away from the first introduction of the car. We'll let you know when we find out more about it.
