Lucid

Last week Lucid started the production of its Gravity SUV, about a month after the company started taking orders for it.

Today a new piece of the Gravity puzzle has finally been revealed: its official EPA-estimated range. So far Lucid has always promised the car would get a range "surpassing 440 miles", so you may have been wondering by how much.

Not a lot, it turns out, but the Gravity still scored a very respectable 450 miles in the EPA's testing. Keep in mind that this is achieved while the car also gives you over 800 hp and up to 120 ft³ of total usable cargo space, including the frunk.

In the words of Lucid CEO Peter Rawlinson, the Gravity delivers an "unprecedented combination of versatility, performance, design, and all-around capability". And as you may have gathered already, it's expensive. The model that can be ordered now starts at $94,900. For what it's worth, in late 2025 you'll also be able to pick one that starts at $79,900.
