Mercedes' me Charge network has reached the impressive milestone of 1.5 million charging points worldwide, making it one of the biggest charging networks in the world. The me Charge network operates in 31 countries across three continents.

Mercedes me Charge network reaches 1.5 million charging points

About 600,000 of the charging points are located in Europe, 100,000 of which are in Germany alone, 800,000 are in Asia, and 100,000 charging points can be found in North America. Of those 1.5 million chargers, 170,000 support 150 kW fast charging.

Mercedes believes the convenience of its me Charge network, as well as pricing transparency, are key factors for its success. All me Charge points are integrated into the MBUX infotainment system on all Mercedes EVs with efficient route planning and price estimations to a full charge before you even arrive.

The me Charge network was the fastest-growing charging network in 2023, installing 40,000 units worldwide per month. In addition, Mercedes plans to integrate 10,000 charging points as part of the Mercedes-Benz Charging Network, set to be established by the end of this decade. In November last year, Mercedes and BMW agreed to collaborate on building a new, premium charging network in China.
