Mercedes

During this year's gamescom in Cologne, Germany, Mercedes-Benz announced that it's partnering up with Boosteroid - a cloud gaming service that offers triple-A titles from popular platforms like Steam and Epic Games. Currently, the service has more than 1,000 games in its library ready to be played by most PCs, laptops, smartphones and smart TVs.

Mercedes wants to bring those games to its cars, so it's leveraging Boosteroid's expertise to achieve it. At SK Gaming's booth, a Mercedes E-Class was present so attendees could try out the games.

The gaming service will be available for car owners who have purchased the MBUX Entertainment Package Plus and third-generation MBUX infotainment system running.

Of course, the gaming mode is available only when the vehicle is stationary and requires you to connect a game controller or your smartphone via Bluetooth.

Boosteroid will be made available in Europe and North and South America next year.
