Stellantis is launching a new SUV, the DS N°7, with special emphasis on comfort. The vehicle comes in two drivetrain options - mild hybrid and E-TENSE version that's fully electric, which in turn comes in three variants.
The entry-level E-TENSE gives you a 73.7 kWh battery good for 337 miles on a single charge according to WLTP and 230 hp output from the front-mounted electric motor. There's also a long-range FWD version with 245 hp, but a much larger 97.2 kWh battery, providing 460 miles range. Both versions offer a Boost mode that bumps up maximum output for a short while to 260 hp and 280 hp, respectively.
The most powerful configuration boasts an all-wheel drive with two electric motors capable of a combined output of 350 hp (375 hp with Boost) and borrows the same 97.2 kWh battery from the FWD long-range variant. The WLTP range is lower, though, at 422 miles.
When it comes to charging, the 73.7 kWh version can replenish its battery capacity from 20% to 80% in 30 minutes, while the 97.2 kWh version is a tad faster, achieving it in 27 mins with a peak charging power of 160 kW. The Pallas trim and above include the V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) feature.
The dimensions are, as we already mentioned, fairly compact. It's 4,660mm in length, 1,900mm wide and 1,630mm in height. The cabin is also said to be spacious, as the rear doors are a tad bigger than you'd expect, and the roof is elevated to give the back passengers a little bit more headroom. The glass panoramic roof helps with that, too.
The hybrid variant includes a 1.2-liter, turbocharged gasoline engine and a 21 kW (28 hp) electric motor. Their combined output is 145 hp.
The DS N°7 is offered in four distinctive trims. The base model gives you a 16-inch central infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10-inch instrument cluster, 19-inch alloy wheels and adaptive cruise control.
The Pallas trim adds heated front seats, 3D navigation via DS IRIS system and front and side parking sensors.
On top of the Étoile, the Étoile package adds electrically adjustable comfort seats with memory foam and a neck warmer system that you usually see on convertibles. Alcantara or Nappa leather upholstery is also available.
The Étoile also adds DS PixelVision adaptive headlights and DS Drive Assist 2.0 with Level 2 semi-autonomous driving. DS Active Scan Suspension is also on the menu, along with a 360-degree camera view and 20-inch wheels.
Finally, the La Premiere (Launch Edition), which is the flagship variant, delivers a few extra goodies on top, like 21-inch alloy wheels, Hi-Fi audio system, DS Night Vision system powered by infrared camera sensors for detecting pedestrians and animals at night, heated steering wheel and windscreen and Nappa leather "watch-strap" style seats.
The entry-level trim starts at €46,990, while the FWD long-range version is priced at €50,610. The AWD long-range iteration can only be purchased with at least the Etoile trim starting at €71,520.
Orders are already open, but actual deliveries will commence by the end of 2026.
