Tesla exec says the Roadster is coming "very soon"

In case you were wondering about Tesla's much-hyped, constantly delayed Roadster, the company's Chief Designer, Franz von Holzhausen, has two words for you: "very soon". Well, technically, the full quote is "Yes, very soon".

That's it. Seriously. He went on Jay Leno's Garage and, when asked about the Roadster, he said those three magic words: "Yes, very soon" (at around the 27:40 mark in the video, which is embedded below).

The Roadster's last delay was leaked in June, when the reason given by an unnamed source was that the thrusters SpaceX is developing for the car to enable it to reach an insane zero to 60 mph time weren't ready.

Elon Musk first talked about the Roadster in 2017, and at this rate the idea of this car will be 10 years old for sure by the time it actually launches - if that will ever happen.
