Zeekr

Today Zeekr revealed more photos of its upcoming offering, the Zeekr 7X SUV. The five-seater is the first SUV from the company and now we get to see its design sans the camouflage.

The company played it safe with its design, conservative almost. It boasts sleek and modern lines, following Zeekr's "Hidden Energy" design language. It measures 190 inches in length, 76 inches in width, and 65.2 inches in height, with a wheelbase of 115.2 inches, making it slightly smaller than its rivals like the Nio ES6 and Xpeng G9. However, Zeekr asserts that the 7X provides the most spacious interior in its class.

The newest Zeekr is built on an 800V high-voltage platform and features dual-motor, all-wheel-drive variant generates a total output of 475 kW, propelling the SUV from 0 to 62 mph in less than 4 seconds. It's the same powertrain we find in the most powerful Zeekr 007.

Zeekr, founded in 2021, has been steadily expanding its portfolio with models like the Zeekr 001, Zeekr 007, Zeekr 009, and Zeekr X. The 7X, alongside the recently launched Zeekr 007 sedan, and Zeekr Mix.

In a market where SUVs often outshine other body styles due to their spaciousness, the Zeekr 7X appears to be a well-calculated move. This model, designed with Chinese families in mind, is ready to shake up the market with its blend of performance, efficiency, and family-friendly features.

The exact pricing details are yet to be announced as are availability dates.

Woah, Zeekr finally showed off without the ridiculous camouflage. Are there any plans for international distribution or is the focus primarily on the Chinese market for now?
