Polestar

Following the addition of support for Samsung Wallet a few days ago, today Polestar is announcing that its cars' owners can now store their keys in Apple Wallet. Thus, you can lock, unlock, and start your Polestar with your iPhone or Apple Watch. For this to work, you need an iPhone 11 or later running the latest version of iOS, and an Apple Watch Series 6 or later with the latest version of watchOS.

This functionality is enabled through an over-the-air software update for the Polestar 3, which is getting it first. The Polestar 4 will follow "soon".

You'll also be able to share car keys from Apple Wallet through Messages, Mail, AirDrop, and WhatsApp with up to five other users. As the vehicle owner, you'll decide whether anyone you share a key with can just get access to locking and unlocking the car, or can also drive it. You can even access and start your Polestar when your iPhone needs to be charged thanks to the Power Reserve feature.
