Porsche Range test

Porsche announced the refreshed Taycan range back in February, and we've already seen an official range test. But now it's time for a real-world range test, and this one features the Taycan 4S Sport Turismo specifically.

It has been tested at 70 mph, on German highways, and yes, that's a very slow speed to go on a German highway, but there's a method to the madness. It's the speed at which Out Of Spec Reviews do all their real-life tests, so the results are comparable between cars.

The Taycan 4S Sport Turismo's WLTP range is 334 miles, and in the test it managed to reach 311 miles, which is very close to the claimed number - 93% of it, in fact, and at much higher average speed too.

Make sure you watch the full video above to get a hang for how things turned out, but spoiler alert: there was no drama at the end, the car didn't stop on the highway or anything like that, since its navigation system very accurately estimated what charger it could get to even on very low charge.

TBH, it quite impressive how they managed to pretty much fix a ton of issues the 1st generation of Taycans had. Taycan 1st is probably the worst depreciating EV on the market, and this new gen will make it depreciate even more.
