Tesla Cybertruck is finally getting parking assistance this week, FSD next month

Tesla

Tesla's Cybertruck has so far had no driver assistance features, despite deliveries having started quite a while back, and despite the fact that "Full Self Driving" aka FSD was a required purchase for early adopters in the Foundation Series. A purchase they haven't so far been able to take advantage of.

That, however, will thankfully change pretty soon. FSD is finally coming to the Cybertruck next month, and later this week the Cybertruck will get parking asisstance features. Tesla has prioritized these as the Cybertruck "ain't exactly the easiest vehicle to park", according to Tesla's Ashok Elluswamy, its director of Autopilot software.

Other Tesla employees have bemusedly chimed in and claimed the Cybertruck is actually quite easy to park - above you can see an example from Wes Morrill, the company's Reliability, Test, and Analysis lead.
