Lynk & Co Volvo Geely

Volvo and Geely announced the signing of a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding to establish a commercial partnership for Lynk & Co distribution in Europe.

Volvo will assume responsibility for Lynk & Co's commercial operations and brand management across Europe, and will become the exclusive importer and distributor of Lynk & Co vehicles in Europe.

This will accelerate Lynk & Co's development on the continent, according to the companies. Volvo will sell Lynk & Co cars through its retail network and share its sales and after-sales systems in relevant European markets, allowing it to cover a broader consumer base, targeting different customers and market segments.

This doesn't involve any changes in ownership. Lynk & Co will remain a brand of Geely Auto Group, which will continue to lead global operations, including product design, research and development, and compliance certification.

The new arrangement builds upon the ongoing partnership in which both Volvo and Lynk & Co cars are already sold through the same retailers at selected locations in Europe.
