As Cadillac sells out 2023 Lyriq production first video review arrives

Cadillac Lyriq is a runaway success - the company has sold out its entire production for this and next year and started taking pre-orders for 2024. Customers can place an order now with a $100 refundable deposit with full orders being taken some time later this year.

After the Debut Edition ran out quickly, the standard 2023 Lyriq was starting at $62,990 but that price is most likely to go up for the 2024 model. The 2024 AWD model is currently listed at $64,000, while the RWD version starts at $60,000 but those prices are non-contractual and exclude all taxes and fees.

GM made a lot of effort to bring the production of Lyriq an entire year forward in order to take advantage of market demand. The downside of that decision is that some of the functions on the 2023 model are still not available - for example HUD will only come on the 2024 model.

Company claims to have 250,000 people who expressed the desire to purchase the Lyriq with 21,000 customers actually committed to buying it. First deliveries are starting officially next week but we already got a video review of the Cadillac Lyriq:

Cadillac hopes to deliver first units to all of its 642 dealers across the US to allow for customer test drives. Production started back in March at the Spring Hill plant in Tennessee and in May the factory produced 120 vehicles. The 2024 model production will begin some time in 2023 with the current model production ramping going according to plan.
