Cadillac GM

Cadillac just announced the 2026 Escalade IQL, which is a longer, more spacious version of the current Escalade IQ. The IQL offers a seat for one additional passenger and more cargo capacity. To fit the extra room, the IQL is longer, measuring 228.5 inches in length compared to the 224.3 inches-long IQ.

When it comes to the drivetrain, there are no notable changes. The Escalade IQL relies on an AWD with two electric motors with a peak output of 750 hp and 1,064 Nm. The 205 kWh battery is based on an NCMA cathode and graphite anode. It can go for 460 miles on a single charge.

If you are using a public DC fast-charging station, you can expect about 116 miles of range in 10 minutes of charging.

When it comes to in-cabin features, the Escalade IQL has lots of them. The Executive Second Row package, for instance, gives you stowable tray tables, 12.6-inch individual screens, wireless charging pads and seats with massaging, heating and ventilation. The third row of seats is touted as very spacious too, and can fold down to make for some extra room at the back.

The main infotainment screen is 55" in diagonal, spans from pillar to pillar and seems to be standard along with the 21-speaker AKG speaker setup. The Executive Second Row package can upgrade this one to a 42-speaker setup.

Cadillac is also giving away its Super Cruise driver assistance tech for the next 3 years with the OnStar Super Cruise plan free of charge.

Last but not least, the Escalade IQL has a vehicle-to-home (V2H) charging tech, and this one is also a standard feature.

The vehicle is expected to enter mass production in mid-2025 at General Motors' Factory Zero in Detroit.
