Cadillac

Ahead of starting to take orders for it on May 19, today Cadillac announced more details about the upcoming Lyriq EV. The RWD model offers an EPA-estimated 312 miles (502 km) of range on a full charge, and will start at $62,990.

The AWD model will start at $64,990 and adds a second drive unit at the front, as you'd expect. They both have a 100 kWh usable-capacity battery. The cheaper version comes with 340 hp, while the all-wheel drive bumps that up to 500 hp.

You'll be able to order the Lyriq in Opulent Blue Metallic, Crystal White Tricoat, Satin Steel Metallic, and Stellar Black Metallic starting this week, while deliveries of the RWD model start this fall. The AWD model will ship in early 2023. The Lyriq Debut Edition, which was available through reservation only, will ship this summer.
