Facelifted Tesla Model 3 spotted in the wild once again

Back in December last year, photos of what appears to be a Model 3 facelift surfaced online suggesting that the automaker will finally update its entry-level EV. Now that vehicle was spotted roaming the streets once more, resulting in even more photos hitting the internet.

Some believe that the update of the Model 3 will be something like the Model S refresh - virtually no visual changes, just under-the-hood improvements. However, why would Tesla go to such lengths to cover up the front and rear bumpers if that was the case? The December pictures also suggested some small design changes.

Beyond looks rumors so far point to infotainment system upgrades, new battery improvements and manufacturing optimizations. The first facility to produce the new Model 3 is the one in Shanghai, China.
