MG

The MG S5 has been spotted roaming the streets freely once again and we took the opportunity to snap a few shots. The vehicle first broke cover via a listing on the Chinese MIIT website, revealing the exterior design and some basic specs. The vehicle is said to replace the MG ZS in some markets.

The camo conceals the design very well, but we already have a good idea of how it looks. Still, the vehicle's appearance on European roads signals a nearing release. It's supposed to hit the market in 2025, and it looks like it will be at the beginning of 2025 too.

We also managed to take a peek inside and it's reminiscent of the MG4. The main infotainment screen isn't integrated into the dashboard, but it hangs on top of it. The steering wheel looks like the one on the MG4 too.

As per the MIIT listing mentioned earlier, the MG S5 will have a version that runs on a single, rear-mounted 125 kW electric motor and a CATL-made LFP battery. The entry-level MG4 uses the same motor.
