Ford

In order to stay relevant in the rapidly growing EV market in the US, Ford is now offering nice lease options on its fully-electric Mustang Mach-E and F-150 Lightning truck. This is an attempt to make the two more affordable and easier to get in the first place.

Now, all Mach-E configurations are offered with a $7,500 lease bonus in the US, while well-qualified lessees can get the RWD trims for just $475 per month for 39 months and $4.995 upfront upon signing. The APR is set to 2.9% for terms up to 60 months.

The F-150 Lightning leases, on the other hand, come with 0% APR if you sign a deal for 36 months and the APR goes up to 3.9% if you lease for up to 60 months.

But introducing new leasing deals isn't the only lever Ford pulls to drive demand. The company is ramping up Mustang Mach-E and F-150 Lightning production to reduce customer wait times. And it's important to note that the Mustang doesn't qualify for the full EV tax credit in the country and you can get only $3,750 off of the original price, while the F-150 Lightning qualifies for the full $7,500 according to the new tax credit rules.

Haha. Silly comments. Ford knows what they’re doing. They know people will sign up for it and they’ll make a boatload of money from these leases. People have been waiting for forever for EV leases. Not me, but plenty have. We’re in America silly comm...
