Geely announced the formation of the new Radar Auto brand last week and today we welcome its first-ever EV - the Radar RD6 truck.
Radar Auto's portfolio will be based around pickup trucks, SUVs, and ATVs, as well as other 'lifestyle products' in the future.
Geely hasn't shared any specs for the Radar RD6 but it's based on Geely's Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA), which means it will have both single and dual motor options.
The Radar RD6 will be manufactured at Radar's facility in Zibo, Shandong, and will ship in China as soon as Q4 of this year.
Radar Auto's inaugural CEO is Geely veteran engineer Dr. Lin Shi Quan.
Renowned British car designer Peter Horbury was in charge of the Radar RD6. He has supervised the design work for Geely, Lynk, Proton, and Lotus.
The Radar RD6 is a full-sized pickup with a front trunk and a truck bed with external charging capabilities.
