Zeekr

Geely's Zeekr brand is updating its Zeekr 007 sedan with extra features, in an attempt to retain its competitive edge.

Just three months after its initial launch, Zeekr brings a heavily updated 2024 Zeekr 007 Enhanced RWD. This rear-wheel-drive base model now offers a bunch of extra features like ventilated and massaging front seats, heated rear seats, and a massive 15-inch OLED touchscreen — all typically seen in much pricier electric vehicles.

Zeekr didn't stop there. The 2024 007 boasts a premium 21-speaker audio system and an "AI fragrance system". A Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip powers all the tech, including the advanced driver aids like lane centering and autonomous parking.

The Enhanced RWD packs a 310 kW motor and promises a range of 541 miles. Impressively, it can add an incredible 379 miles of range in just 15 minutes - providing they can find a DC charger with sufficient power output. Sprinting from 0 to 62 mph in a lively 5.4 seconds keeps things exciting behind the wheel.

Former Audi and Bentley designer Stefan Sielaff oversaw the Zeekr 007's development, and his touch is clearly visible in its sleek, muscular bodywork. Measuring in at 191.5 inches long and riding on a 115.3 inches wheelbase, it's a striking presence on the road.

Pricing is a key strength of the Enhanced RWD: it starts at just RMB 209,900 (roughly $29,000). While the standard battery offers a 428 miles range, buyers can upgrade to CATL's 100 kWh battery for that impressive range and charging speeds.
