HiPhi X and HiPhi Z go on sale in Europe

HiPhi has officially begun sales of its electric vehicles in Europe. After securing a swift TÜV approval in April, the company didn't waste any time, and opened its sales books to customers in Germany and Norway. Two models will be initially available - the HiPhi X and the HiPhi Z.

HiPhi is opening its first European showroom at the Munich Airport, and customers will be soon able to test drive both of the models. The company has confirmed first show cars are already in Europe and after being approved, are fully registered and ready for their duty.

HiPhi is a completely new brand in the European market, and there’s very little recognition of it. The company will have a lot of work to do, to convince new customers it has what it takes to be classed as a luxury brand. For those who don’t care about brand recognition and only want the most futuristic electric car on the market - HiPhi is the answer.

Starting with its first-ever electric car - the HiPhi X - which was released in China in 2020. This behemoth of luxury is 17.1 ft long making it the third largest EV on the European market, with only BMW i7 and Mercedes EQS being larger. This futuristic EV has fully automatic doors without any handles, the rear door opens rearwards, and if that wasn’t dramatic enough, a part of the roof lifts up to make a real show - Tesla Model X looks lame next to the HiPhi X.

The 440 kW (590 hp) super-SUV accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.9 seconds, and its 97 kWh battery promises a 286 miles WLTP range. Available in 4 and 6-seat configurations, the HiPhi Z starts in Germany from $127,700 for the 6-seat model, and $144,100 for the top-of-the-range 4-seat option.

The HiPhi Z was only unveiled last year, and it truly is striking to look at. This 494 kW (662 hp) thunders from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.8 seconds and thanks to its substantial 120 kWh battery pack, it delivers a 345 miles WLTP range. Just like the X, the Z is available in the 4-seat configuration, and the more traditional 5-seat layout is optional.

This futuristic GT starts at $123,000 in Germany, and the 4-seat option requires additional $2,300. Both vehicles can be ordered right now, and the company promises swift deliveries to follow in the third quarter. HiPhi is bringing its third EV to Europe later this year, the HiPhi Y was designed with the European market in mind - which means it is slightly shorter but still offers the same opulence and technology as its bigger siblings.
