Kia Announcement

Kia's EV6 recently got a facelift. The 2024 EV6 is made its debut in South Korea and is now ready to expand to overseas markets, starting with the UK.

The refreshed EV6 is now priced in Britain, starting at $62,588 for the base RWD Air trim. Upgrading to the GT-Lne, brings you more aggressive front and rear bumpers, 20" wheels and an LED light bar. It also give you the choice between RWD ($66,708) and AWD ($71,515) options.

Finally there's the top GT-Line S trim, priced at ($73,712) for the RWD version and ($78,518) for the AWD trim.

The most significant upgrade lies beneath the surface. The EV6's usable battery capacity has increased from 77.4kWh to 84kWh, granting the most efficient model an impressive official range of 361 miles. This places the EV6 comfortably among the longest-range electric crossovers available. Additionally, charging speed has received a boost, with a maximum of 258 kW enabling a 10-80% charge in 18 minutes.

Inside the cabin, subtle yet noticeable changes enhance the EV6's appeal. The center console's glossy black plastic has been replaced with a more sophisticated matte finish. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto finally make their debut, eliminating the need for unsightly phone cables. The steering wheel now offers motorized adjustment, and a fingerprint scanner adds a layer of security while allowing for personalized seating and climate settings.

The EV6's performance remains top-shelf. The 228 hp RWD cars accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in a brisk 7.3 seconds. The dual-motor all-wheel-drive variants, boasting 325 hp, deliver even more potent acceleration.

This is what happens when you're lazy. They use the pound in 'Britain', not the dollar.
