Mercedes

Mercedes is yet to fully announce its EQS SUV and the company will probably do so this year. Apparently, it starts with the interior and some of its highlight features. It's quite similar to the one introduced with the sedan version of the EQS.

Anyway, a big 12.3-inch OLED display is used for infotainment and entertainment. Mercedes says that the EQS SUV will allow passengers to watch content on the screen while the vehicle is being driven. However, smart in-cabin system will dim the screen once sensors detect that the driver is looking at the screen. The system also requires passengers to wear headphones when watching movies.

Interestingly, the sedan EQS features the same kind of tech and sensors so Mercedes will likely implement it on the regular EQS as well.

The 12.3-inch display is part of the massive 56-inch MBUX Hyperscreen introduced with the EQS. The audio system is Dolby Atmos-tuned while the air purification system is equipped with a new scent called MOOD Mimosa.

The Hyperscreen will, of course, be paired with ambient LED lighting with up to seven color combinations. The maker used fine leathers, stainless steel trims and laser-cut magnolia wood in the making of the interior.

One of the EQS SUV options will offer a third row of seats, which Mercedes promises to be more comfortable than the ones found on the GLE. Thanks to the new EV architecture. the company was able to allocate more passenger space compared to its ICE SUVs.

With the interior out of the way, we hope to see the powertrain configurations and the exterior design, although we expect both to be quite similar to the EQS sedan.

It looks very similar to the EQS sedan. Or is it exactly the same?
