MG

MG's cheap and cheerful Comet EV now has a special Gamer Edition in India. This is available online and across all dealerships in the country for an additional INR 64,999, and the Gamer Edition customization is applicable to all of the Comet EV's variants: Pace, Play, and Plush.

The Comet EV Gamer Edition has been created in partnership with Naman Mathur, aka MORTAL, whom MG describes as "the OG MVP". The Comet EV Gamer Edition is, according to MG, "the first-ever customized car in the EV segment".

The Gamer Edition is "inspired by the gaming community's Bold, Vibrant, Dynamic and Techno vibe". It's been "conceptualized in dark and light themes to create a sense of zaniness for Gen Z, who like the adrenaline rush of gaming", MG says in its press release.

But wait, there's more! "The lucid exteriors" (that's lucid with an "l" not Lucid the EV maker) have been "crafted from recycled plastic material with a dark chrome and metal finish with an illuminated texture that strikes a great appeal".

The interior will "enthuse gaming aficionados/fans" according to MG, since it boasts "Neon Elements derived from glowing materials", while the ambient lighting and tactile patterns on the key "enhance the overall appeal and are built to perfection, suiting the taste of the gaming tribe".
