Genesis

The refreshed Genesis Electrified GV70 has been spotted in public for the first time, giving us a sneaky peek at the production model ahead of its official release. The first sighting comes less than a month after Genesis unveiled the updated EV at the LA Auto Show, with its refined design, enhanced technology, and increased range.

Captured on video by HealerTV, the Electrified GV70 was seen navigating public roads, flaunting its updated exterior. The redesigned front fascia immediately catches the eye, with a prominent G-Matrix Crest Grille and striking two-line headlamps featuring microlens array technology. Enlarged air intakes improve the SUV's athletic stance, while the redesigned wheels add a touch of sophistication. The rear also receives a subtle refresh with new turn signals that complement the updated headlamps.

While the interior wasn't visible in the video, we know from an official reveal that it boasts a luxurious cabin with a massive 27-inch OLED display serving as both the driver information cluster and infotainment system. An advanced voice control system is in charge of various vehicle functions, and EV-specific features like ambient mood lighting and marble-like design elements enhance the premium feel.

One of the most significant upgrades lies beneath the surface. The 2025 Electrified GV70 gets a larger 84 kWh battery, replacing the previous 77.4 kWh unit. This change is expected to boost the driving range beyond the current 236 miles.

Genesis is expected to offer the Electrified GV70 in Advanced AWD and Prestige AWD trims. While official pricing hasn't been announced, it's anticipated to be in line with the current model's US prices of $66,950 and $73,750, respectively.
